Old Amplefordians Online

This site is the online version of the Ampleforth Address Book, which will no longer be printed in hard copy. Only other Old Amplefordians can view the information you choose to include. It is still early days for OAs Online but we hope that all Old Amplefordians will find this site a useful tool for reconnecting and keeping in touch with old friends and contemporaries. We are keen to encourage those organising clubs and events to use OAs Online as their main means of communicating with their members and other OAs.

To browse the site you will need to login. If you have not received your login details via a letter from the Development Office or you have mislaid them, please Email the Development Office to request them. Please mention your house and year of leaving in the message. If you encounter any problems logging in either at the first attempt or subsequent ones, please get in touch using the above email address - we can easily reset your details.

In 'My Profile' you can update your details, offer and find mentoring services and tell us about yourself and your career. You can also upload a current photo of yourself. In 'My Account Settings' you can change your email address and password and under 'Privacy Options' you can specify which pieces of information about yourself you want other OAs to be able to see. Use the 'Browse OAs' tab and the search facility to find and view information held about other OAs.

The Development Office adheres to the Data Protection Act (DPA) 1998 and you can find the Data Protection and Site Usage Policy under 'Terms of Service'.

While the Online Address book is taking root you may find that some OAs have not yet updated their profile and changed their privacy settings. Please urge any OAs you are in touch with to visit the site and update their profile. You can update your email address and password by clicking here.
